Julia Oscarson is a visual artist who paints primarily in an abstract style.
“As the painting evolves, new possibilities emerge that I consider and pull forward or push back, creating a form without form appearance. I like to play with familiarity in a hushed approach."

The time she spent abroad greatly influenced her artistic growth, her commitment to painting made stronger by the abundance of art galleries and museums in the European cities in which she lived.
From 2005 - 2018 Oscarson lived in Asia and took part in group exhibitions in South Korea and Thailand showcasing her paintings along side Korea, Thai and International Artists.
In 2013, six of Oscarson's abstract paintings were featured in aThink Design Dinner with Bolivian chef, Pablo Blattmann. Six french gastronomy dishes were prepared directly influenced by Oscarson's artwork.
